Us (Analyte Health): An innovative consumer healthcare services business based in Chicago on the cusp of launching an additional new brand of products and services. You: A hands-down superstar consumer marketer whose obsession for building consumer brands and experiences borders on the unhealthy. You’ve got the knowledge, skills and willingness to take control of a brand, set a vision, guide a small team and personally help execute the tactics necessary to reach that vision.  You’ve worked closely with at least one consumer brand, and have direct experience with digital marketing tactics. You’re at a point in your career where you have the professional ability to pursue lots of possibilities, but you also have an intellectual and personal need to do something just a little bit off the beaten path.  You’re less concerned with finding the perfect job (heck you may not even be looking) and more inspired by finding an experience that will challenge your creativity, leadership and sheer force of will.  From a personality perspective, you’re the type of person who as a kid loved reading choose your own adventure books as opposed to regular mysteries, because it meant you could influence the outcome, not just be along for the ride.

Your Vitals:

  • Passion for, and experience in, building consumer brands
  • Experience with various online and offline marketing tactics
  • Ability to lead a small team to generate big results
  • Turbo-charged creativity to develop unique co-marketing partnerships
  • Deep understanding of “marketing math” – customer acquisition costs, average order value, contribution margin, lifetime value of a customer, etc.
  • An unquenchable thirst to test and learn your way to success
  • Chicago-based (geographic desirability is real thing after all)
  • BA required, MBA preferred
  • You’re confident but humble, funny but not caustic, a leader but not a dictator, and you recognize that good ideas can come from anywhere (or anyone)
